Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse Monoclonal (IgG1,k) to Human IL1A / IL-1 Alpha
Human IL1A / IL-1 Alpha
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein A purified
ELISA (0.1 - 1 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
IL1A / IL-1 Alpha antibody was raised against recombinant human IL-1a.
Recognizes natural and recombinant human IL-1a.
Suitable for use in ELISA. ELISA: (as a detection antibody): 0.1-1 ug/ml. Dilutions should be made in buffered solution containing a carrier protein (e. g., 0.1%-1.0% BSA). A preservative, such as 0.1% sodium azide, may also be added.
PBS, pH 7.5, 0.5% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
IL1A / IL-1 Alpha is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. This cytokine is a pleiotropic cytokine involved in various immune responses, inflammatory processes, and hematopoiesis. This cytokine is produced by monocytes and macrophages as a proprotein, which is proteolytically processed and released in response to cell injury, and thus induces apoptosis. This gene and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2.
