Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Rat, Human, Mouse, Bovine, Dog, Chicken, Xenopus (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:1000)
Specificity and Use
MAPK3 / ERK1 antibody was raised against phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding the phosphoThr202 and Tyr204 of rat ERK/MAPK.
Specific for the ~42k - 44k ERK/MAPK phosphorylated at Thr202 and Tyr204. Immunolabeling is blocked by the phosphopeptide used as antigen but not by the corresponding dephosphopeptide. The immunolabeling is completely eliminated by X phosphatase.
50 uL of 10 mM HEPES, pH 7.5, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.1 mg/mL BSA, 50% glycerol.
Serine/threonine kinase which acts as an essential component of the MAP kinase signal transduction pathway. MAPK1/ERK2 and MAPK3/ERK1 are the 2 MAPKs which play an important role in the MAPK/ERK cascade. They participate also in a signaling cascade initiated by activated KIT and KITLG/SCF.
Western blot of human T47D cell lysates showing specific immunolabeling of ~42-44k ERK/MAPK protein phosphorylated at Thr202 and Tyr204 (Control). The phosphospecificity of this labeling is shown in the second lane (lambda-phosphatase: lambda phosphatase)
