  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MAPK3 / ERK1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to the FLpTEpYVA motif of phosphorylated ERK1/2 (MAPK2/3). Conjugated to KLH.
Recognizes the FLpTEpYVA motif of activated human ERK1 and ERK2. Requires phosphorylation both at the threonine and the tyrosine site and does not cross-react with the non-phosphorylated form of the protein. Does not cross-react with activated JNK or p38. Species cross-reactivity: mouse, rat, and canine.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. ELISA: 0.05 ug/ml. Western Blot: 0.5 ug/ml (ECL) Recommended blocking buffer: Casein/Tween-20. Immunocytochemistry: 1-10 ug/ml. Immunoprecipitation: 1 ug/1E6 cells (Pervanadate treated) A431 orHepG2 cells). Positive control: H2030-03H1 HepG2 Cell Lysate, Pervanadate Treated.

PBS, 0.09% sodium azide, G, sucrose, 40% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

Serine/threonine kinase which acts as an essential component of the MAP kinase signal transduction pathway. MAPK1/ERK2 and MAPK3/ERK1 are the 2 MAPKs which play an important role in the MAPK/ERK cascade. They participate also in a signaling cascade initiated by activated KIT and KITLG/SCF.
