CHRNB2 antibody was raised against peptide analogue of the carboxyl terminal of the nicotinic beta 2 receptor attached to a carrier protein.
Recognizes Human Nicotinic beta 2, (carboxyl terminal) Receptor (a. a. 493-502). Cross-reactivity: Nicotinic beta 2 receptor (493-502) 100%; Nicotine beta 2 receptor ~90%; Nicotinic alpha 3 receptor 0%; Nicotinic alpha 4 receptor 0%; Nicotinic alpha 5 receptor 0%; Nicotinic alpha 7 receptor 0%; Nicotinic beta 3 receptor 0%; Nicotinic beta 4 receptor 0%.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Immunocytochemistry: 1:200. Stains fixed cells known to express the nicotinic beta 2 receptor using ABC techniques. Western Blot: 1:400. Using tissue homogenates to yield a single band at 60kD.
