Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Flow Cytometry

Specificity and Use

VTCN1 / B7-H4 antibody was raised against mouse VTCN1
The 188 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of transfected cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.09% sodium azide
Store at 4°C, avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.
For research use only.

Negatively regulates T-cell-mediated immune response by inhibiting T-cell activation, proliferation, cytokine production and development of cytotoxicity. When expressed on the cell surface of tumor macrophages, plays an important role, together with regulatory T-cells (Treg), in the suppression of tumor-associated antigen-specific T-cell immunity. Involved in promoting epithelial cell transformation.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of mouse B7-H4 transfected L5178Y cells with 0.25 ug Purified Rat IgG2b isotype control (open histogram) or 0.25 ug Purified anti-mouse B7S1/B7H4 (188, colored histogram) followed by Biotin Anti-Rat IgG and Streptavidin-PE. Total viable cells were used for analysis.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of non-transfected L5178Y cells with 0.25 ug Purified Rat IgG2b isotype control (open histogram) or 0.25 ug Purified anti-mouse B7S1/B7H4 (188, colored histogram) followed by Biotin Anti-Rat IgG and Streptavidin-PE. Total viable cells were used for analysis.
