Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

TPH1 Antibody, L-tryptophan hydroxylase Antibody, TRPH Antibody, Tryptophan 5-hydroxylase 1 Antibody, Tryptophan 5-monooxygenase 1 Antibody, TPRH Antibody, Tryptophan hydroxylase 1 Antibody, TPH Antibody

TPH1 / TPH encodes a member of the aromatic amino acid hydroxylase family. The encoded protein catalyzes the first and rate limiting step in the biosynthesis of serotonin, an important hormone and neurotransmitter. Mutations in this gene have been associated with an elevated risk for a variety of diseases and disorders, including schizophrenia, somatic anxiety, anger-related traits, bipolar disorder, suicidal behavior, addictions, and others.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue with TPH1 Antibody , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Immunofluorescence

Immunofluorescence
Confocal immunofluorescence of TPH1 Antibody with 293 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of TPH1 Antibody in 293 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). TPH1 (arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometric of widr cells using TPH1 Antibody (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
