  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MGMT antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to a region within human DNMT1 encoded within exon 25.
Recognizes human casein kinase II alpha, also known as CKIIa or Casein kinase II subunit alpha. CKIIa is a 391 amino acid ~42 kD protein which localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus. CKII is ubiquitous composed of three subunits (alpha, alpha prime and beta) which form a tetrameric holoenzyme with 2 alpha, alpha' subunits or one of each together with two beta subunits. The alpha and alpha prime subunits are catalytic whilst the beta subunit appears to have a regulatory role. CKII is involved in the regulation of numerous pathways, including signal transduction, cell cycle and some metabolic pathways.

Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer, pH 7-8, 0.09% sodium azide.

MGMT Antibody

Involved in the cellular defense against the biological effects of O6-methylguanine (O6-MeG) in DNA. Repairs alkylated guanine in DNA by stoichiometrically transferring the alkyl group at the O-6 position to a cysteine residue in the enzyme. This is a suicide reaction: the enzyme is irreversibly inactivated.
