Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
KPI-2 / LMTK2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide RCINSESSTD from an internal region of human LMTK2 (NP_055731.2). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey, Marmoset, Elephant, Panda, Dog, Horse, Rabbit (100%); Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Pig (90%); Bat (80%).
LS-E27465 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-C139640. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:1000. Western blot: Approx 150kD band observed in Human Brain (Cerebellum) lysates (calculated MW of 165kD according to NP_055731.2). Recommended concentration: 1-3 ug/ml.
KPI-2 / LMTK2 belongs to the protein kinase superfamily and the protein tyrosine kinase family. It contains N-terminal transmembrane helices and a long C-terminal cytoplasmic tail with serine/threonine/tyrosine kinase activity. This protein interacts with several other proteins, such as Inhibitor-2 (Inh2), protein phosphatase-1 (PP1C), p35, and myosin VI. It phosporylates other proteins, and is itself also phosporylated when interacting with cyclin-dependent kinase 5 (cdk5)/p35 complex.
