Rat DRD2 / Dopamine Receptor D2
(tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Human, Bovine (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
- Western blot (1 - 10 µg/ml)
- ELISA (0.5 - 1 µg/ml)
A 27 amino acid peptide sequence from the rat D2 long form within the cytoplasmic loop #3. No significant homology with other receptors (D1, D2 short, and D3-D5).
3rd Cytoplasmic Domain
Recognizes rat Dopamine Receptor D2 long form. Recognizes canine D2R. Species sequence Homology: Human, bovine, and canine: 96%, Xenopus: 64%.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml (Chemiluminescence technique). The predicted size of D2L form is approximately 50kD. However, additional bands at approximately 60 and 100kD, and others are typically seen in various tissues. Approximately 100-400 ug of membrane protein/lane should be loaded to visualize various bands. ELISA: 0.5-1.0 ug/ml (1 ug/ml immunogen peptide/well).
100 mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.2% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
