  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CDK5R1 antibody was raised against kLH-coupled synthetic peptide from N-terminal of human p35 protein (Swiss Prot: Q15078)
Endogenous levels of mouse and rat p35. It is predicted to react with human p35 according to sequence homology. Positive Control: mouse brain, and rat brain.

Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide.
80 µl Distilled water
Store lyophilized at -20°C. The reconstituted product can be stored for short term at 4 °C or long term at -20 °C or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

About CDK5R1

Q15078 NM_003885 NP_003876.1

CDK5R1 Antibody, CDK5R Antibody, CDK5P35 Antibody, p35 Antibody, p35nck5a Antibody, p23 Antibody, p25 Antibody, TPKII regulatory subunit Antibody, CDK5 activator 1 Antibody, NCK5A Antibody, Neuronal CDK5 activator Antibody

CDK5R1 (p35) is a neuron-specific activator of cyclin-dependent kinase 5 (CDK5); the activation of CDK5 is required for proper development of the central nervous system. The p35 form of this protein is proteolytically cleaved by calpain, generating a p25 form. The cleavage of p35 into p25 results in relocalization of the protein from the cell periphery to nuclear and perinuclear regions. P25 deregulates CDK5 activity by prolonging its activation and changing its cellular location.
