Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG1 Monoclonal [4C7]
Tissue culture supernatant
IHC - Paraffin (1:25 - 1:50), IHC - Frozen, Western blot (1:25 - 1:50)
Specificity and Use
CD5 antibody was raised against recombinant human CD5.
Recognizes the human CD5 cell surface antigen. CD5 is expressed by mature T lymphocytes and also by a minor subset of normal B lymphocytes. CD5 expression may be useful in studies of lymphoma classification, being positive in cases of mantle zone lymphoma and B cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia.
Immunohistology: This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
