Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Purified / Lyophilized / Endotoxin Level: Less than 1.0 EU/µg protein (determined by LAL method).
TGFB1 / TGF Beta 1
The extracellular domain of a mutant human TGFbeta1 is fused to the N-terminus of the Fc region of human IgG4. Site-directed mutagenesis was used to change three cysteine codons into a serine codon that are located in the pro region of the TGF-beta precursor.
Human IgG4 Fc
Greater than 98% by SDS-PAGE
Shows the biological function of the TGFbeta1 moiety and exerts a prolonged circulating half-life caused by the modified Fc domain.
Less than 0.06 EU/µg protein (determined by LAL method).
Lyophilized from PBS.
Reconstitute in 100 ul sterile water
Store lyophilized at -20°C for at least 1 year. Once reconstituted store at 4°C for immediate use, or aliquot and store at -20°C for up to 3 months. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

TGFB1 / TGF Beta 1 is a member of the transforming growth factor beta (TGFB) family of cytokines, which are multifunctional peptides that regulate proliferation, differentiation, adhesion, migration, and other functions in many cell types. Many cells have TGFB receptors, and the protein positively and negatively regulates many other growth factors.
