Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About ALDH1A1 / ALDH1

P00352 NM_000689 NP_000680.2

ALDH1A1 Protein, Acetaldehyde dehydrogenase 1 Protein, ALDH class 1 Protein, ALDC Protein, Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 Protein, ALDH-E1 Protein, ALDH1 Protein, ALDH11 Protein, PUMB1 Protein, RALDH 1 Protein, RALDH1 Protein, ALHDII Protein, Retinal dehydrogenase 1 Protein, Retinaldehyde dehydrogenase 1 Protein

ALDH1A1 / ALDH1 belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family. Aldehyde dehydrogenase is the next enzyme after alcohol dehydrogenase in the major pathway of alcohol metabolism. There are two major aldehyde dehydrogenase isozymes in the liver, cytosolic and mitochondrial, which are encoded by distinct genes, and can be distinguished by their electrophoretic mobility, kinetic properties, and subcellular localization. This gene encodes the cytosolic isozyme.
