Immunohistochemistry Services

Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

TCR Screening Services

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

CCL4 / MIP-1 Beta Antibody - Anti-MIP-1beta Antibody - Western Blot. anti-Human MIP-1beta antibody shows detection of a band ~15 kD in size corresponding to recombinant human MIP-1beta. The identity of the faint higher molecular weight band may represent a homodimer. Molecular weight markers are also shown (left). After transfer, the membrane was blocked overnight with 3% BSA in TBS followed by reaction with primary antibody at a 1:1000 dilution. Detection occurred using peroxidase conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG (LS-C60865) secondary antibody diluted 1:40000 in blocking buffer (p/n MB-070) for 30 min at RT followed by reaction with FemtoMax chemiluminescent substrate. Image was captured using VersaDoc MP 4000 imaging system (Bio-Rad).

Specifications

Description
MIP-1 Beta antibody LS-C154095 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to human MIP-1 Beta (CCL4 ). Validated for ELISA and WB.
Target
Human CCL4 / MIP-1 Beta
Synonyms
CCL4 | ACT2 | Act-2 | AT744.1 | C-C motif chemokine 4 | Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 4 | CC chemokine ligand 4 | HC21 | LAG1 | MIP1B | MIP1B1 | LAG-1 | SCYA2 | Secreted protein G-26 | SIS-gamma | MIP-1-beta | MIP-1-beta(1-69) | Small-inducible cytokine A4 | T-cell activation protein 2 | G-26 | Lymphocyte-activation gene 1 | PAT 744 | Protein H400 | SCYA4
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
IgG Polyclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by dialysis.
Modifications
Unmodified
Applications
  • Western blot (1:1000)
  • ELISA (1:10000)
Immunogen
This purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with full length recombinant human MIP-1ß protein.
Specificity
This antibody will recognize both native and recombinant human IL-9 in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.
Usage
This purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. Reactivity is also expected in neutralizations, radioimmunoassay and immunohistochemistry. The endotoxin content is estimated to be <10 pg/ul by the LAL method. By western blot a band approximately 15 kD in size corresponding to native human MIP-1beta protein is expected in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
Presentation
Lyophilized from 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, pH 7.2, 0.15 M NaCl
Reconstitution
Reconstitute in 100 µL of deionized water.
Storage
Short term: store at 4°C. Long term: aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Restrictions
For research use only.
