Immunogen
This purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with full length recombinant human MIP-1 protein.
Specificity
This purified antibody has been heated to 56°C for 30 minutes. In ELISA and other immunoreactive assays, this antibody will recognize both native and recombinant human IL-9 in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.
Usage
This purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. Reactivity is also expected in neutralizations, radioimmunoassay and immunohistochemistry. The endotoxin content is estimated to be <10 pg/ul by the LAL method. By western blot a band approximately 15 kD in size corresponding to native human MIP-1beta protein is expected in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
