Specificity and Use
TNFRSF1A / TNFR1 antibody was raised against purified recombinant human soluble TNF Receptor I.
Recognizes natural and recombinant human soluble TNF Receptor I.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunoprecipitation. ELISA: (as a capture antibody): 1-5 ug/ml. Coat each well of a microtiter plate with 100 ug of diluted antibody. The recommended buffer is an aqueous solution containing 8g NaCl, 1.42g Na2HPO4-H2O, 0.2g KH2PO4, 0.2g KCl per liter, pH 7.4.
TNFRSF1A / TNFR1 is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This protein is one of the major receptors for the tumor necrosis factor-alpha. This receptor can activate NF-kappaB, mediate apoptosis, and function as a regulator of inflammation. Antiapoptotic protein BCL2-associated athanogene 4 (BAG4/SODD) and adaptor proteins TRADD and TRAF2 have been shown to interact with this receptor, and thus play regulatory roles in the signal transduction mediated by the receptor.
