A 24 AA Peptide sequence near the C-Terminus of rat TR1(1). The peptide was coupled to KLH.

Specificity
The 24 AA rat control peptide is specific for rat TR1. It has no significant sequence homology with TR2 or gustducin or pheromone receptors. Antibody cross-reactivity in various species is not established. Control peptide, because of its low mol size (<3kD), is not recommended for Western. It should be used in ELISA, Dot Blot and for antibody blocking to confirm specificity of antibodies.

- ELISA (1:5000 - 1:25000)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. ELISA: 1:5000-1:25000. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 ug/ml. Western Blot: 1:500-1:2500.
