Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Specificity and Use
SP1 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide derived from a sequence between amino acids 750 and the C-terminus of the transcription factor Sp1 protein [Gene ID 6667].
Specific for Sp1. Species cross-reactivity: Reacts with human Sp1. Other species have not been tested. Reactivity with mouse is likely owing to sequence similarity at the site to which the immunogen epitope maps.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
Transcription factor that can activate or repress transcription in response to physiological and pathological stimuli. Binds with high affinity to GC-rich motifs and regulates the expression of a large number of genes involved in a variety of processes such as cell growth, apoptosis, differentiation and immune responses. Highly regulated by post-translational modifications (phosphorylations, sumoylation, proteolytic cleavage, glycosylation and acetylation).
