Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Sorbitol dehydrogenase (SORD; EC 22.214.171.124) catalyzes the interconversion of polyols and their corresponding ketoses, and together with aldose reductase (ALDR1; MIM 103880), makes up the sorbitol pathway that is believed to play an important role in the development of diabetic complications (summarized by Carr and Markham, 1995 [PubMed 8535074]). The first reaction of the pathway (also called the polyol pathway) is the reduction of glucose to sorbitol by ALDR1 with NADPH as the cofactor.
Anti-SORD mouse monoclonal antibody immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected by pCMV6-ENTRY SORD.
Immunofluorescent staining of HepG2 cells using anti-SORD mouse monoclonal antibody.
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY SORD (Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-SORD.
Flow cytometric analysis of Jurkat cells, using anti-SORD antibody, (Red) compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody (Blue).
Flow cytometric analysis of Hela cells, using anti-SORD antibody, (Red) compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody (Blue).
HEK293T cells transfected with either pCMV6-ENTRY SORD (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained with anti-SORD mouse monoclonal(Dilution 1:1,000), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.
