About SLAMF1 / SLAM / CD150
High-affinity self-ligand important in bidirectional T-cell to B-cell stimulation. SLAM-induced signal-transduction events in T-lymphocytes are different from those in B-cells. Two modes of SLAM signaling are likely to exist: one in which the inhibitor SH2D1A acts as a negative regulator and another in which protein-tyrosine phosphatase 2C (PTPN11)-dependent signal transduction operates. Usage
This 9D1 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse thymic and splenic cell suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
