  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PRKAG2 / AMPK Gamma 2 antibody was raised against kLH-coupled synthetic peptide from C-terminal of human AMPK gamma2 (Swiss Prot: Q9UGJ0)
Human endogenous AMPK gamma2 and does not cross-react with AMPK gamma1 and AMPK gamma3. It is predicted to react with mouse and rat AMPK gamma2 according to sequence homology.

Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide.
80 µl Distilled water
Store lyophilized at -20°C. The reconstituted product can be stored for short term at 4 °C or long term at -20 °C or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

About PRKAG2 / AMPK Gamma 2

PRKAG2 Antibody, Ampk gamma 2 Antibody, AAKG Antibody, AAKG2 Antibody, AAMPK Gamma 2 Antibody, AMPK subunit gamma-2 Antibody, AMPK gamma2 Antibody, CMH6 Antibody, WPWS Antibody, H91620p Antibody

AMP/ATP-binding subunit of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), an energy sensor protein kinase that plays a key role in regulating cellular energy metabolism. In response to reduction of intracellular ATP levels, AMPK activates energy-producing pathways and inhibits energy-consuming processes: inhibits protein, carbohydrate and lipid biosynthesis, as well as cell growth and proliferation.
