Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
PDHX Antibody, DLDBP Antibody, E3BP Antibody, OPDX Antibody, ProX Antibody, Protein x Antibody, E3-binding protein Antibody
The pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH) complex is located in the mitochondrial matrix and catalyzes the conversion of pyruvate to acetyl coenzyme A. The PDH complex thereby links glycolysis to Krebs cycle. The PDH complex contains three catalytic subunits, E1, E2, and E3, two regulatory subunits, E1 kinase and E1 phosphatase, and a non-catalytic subunit, E3 binding protein (E3BP). This gene encodes the E3 binding protein subunit; also known as component X of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex.
Human Colon: Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE)
Fluorescent confocal image of SY5Y cells stained with PDX1 (T11) antibody. SY5Y cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.2%, 30 min). Cells were then incubated PDX1 (T11) primary antibody (1:100, 2 h at room temperature). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:1000, 1h). Nuclei were counterstained with Hoechst 33342 (blue) (10 ug/ml, 5 min). Note the highly specific localization of the PDX1 immunosignal to the nucleus, supported by Human Protein Atlas Data (http://www.proteinatlas.org/ENSG00000110435).
Western blot of anti-PDX1 Antibody (T11) in NCI-H460 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). PDX1-T11(arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.
Western blot of PDX1 (arrow) using PDX1 Antibody (T11). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the PDX1 gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).
