Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Applications

IHC - Paraffin (1:100 - 1:500), IHC - Frozen, Immunofluorescence (1:50 - 1:250), Western blot (1:50 - 1:250), Immunoprecipitation (1:50 - 1:250)

Specificity and Use

PAX3 antibody was raised against his6-tagged recombinant protein derived from a portion of the N-terminus of the mouse Pax3 sequence, encompassing the paired box and homeobox domains.
N-Terminus
Recognizes the ~53kD Pax3 protein in Pax3-MSCV transduced NIH-3T3 cell lysates on a Western blot assay. An untransduced NIH-3T3 cell line did not exhibit the target ~53kD band. However, a strong non-specific band at ~70kD and several other faint bands were observed in both the positive and negative control cell lines. Has also been used in immunofluorescence assays using Pax3-FKHR infected NIH-3T3 cells that were fixed in 2% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized in 2% paraformaldehyde containing 1% Triton X-100. Species sequence homology: human and chicken.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:250. Western Blot: 1:50-1:250. Immunoprecipitation: 1:50-1:250. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and paraffin): 1:50-1:250. Use with formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded mouse tissue sections, requires heat induced epitope retrieval (HIER) using citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 minutes.

Packaging

Supplied a liquid, 0.1% sodium azide.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles.

About PAX3

PAX3 Antibody, CDHS Antibody, Paired domain gene 3 Antibody, Paired box protein Pax-3 Antibody, Paired domain gene HuP2 Antibody, Waardenburg syndrome 1 Antibody, WS1 Antibody, HUP2 Antibody, Paired box 3 Antibody, Paired box homeotic gene 3 Antibody, WS3 Antibody

PAX3 is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. Members of the PAX family typically contain a paired box domain and a paired-type homeodomain. These genes play critical roles during fetal development. Mutations in paired box gene 3 are associated with Waardenburg syndrome, craniofacial-deafness-hand syndrome, and alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.
