  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PALLD / Palladin antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-RDSGDENEPIQER from an internal region of human PALLD / Palladin (NP_057165.3). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Elephant, Panda, Dog, Bat, Horse, Rabbit, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken, Xenopus (100%); Zebrafish (92%); Bovine, Stickleback, Pufferfish (85%).
LS-E26932 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Human PALLD / Palladin.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:2000. Western blot: Approx. 125kDa band observed in Human Umbillical Cord lysates (calculated MW of122kDa according to NP_057165.3). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 ug/ml. An additional band of 55kDa was consistently observed, however this band was not blocked by the immunizing peptide and it is therefore a non-specific signal. We call for caution when used for other assays than Western blot.

Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide

PALLD Antibody, Myoneurin Antibody, Sarcoma antigen NY-SAR-77 Antibody, SIH002 Antibody, MYN Antibody, Palladin Antibody, PNCA1 Antibody, CGI-151 Antibody, CGI151 Antibody, KIAA0992 Antibody

Cytoskeletal protein required for organization of normal actin cytoskeleton. Roles in establishing cell morphology, motility, cell adhesion and cell-extracellular matrix interactions in a variety of cell types. May function as a scaffolding molecule with the potential to influence both actin polymerization and the assembly of existing actin filaments into higher-order arrays. Binds to proteins that bind to either monomeric or filamentous actin.

Western blot

Western blot
PALLD antibody (0.1 ug/ml) staining of Human Umbilical Cord lysate (35 ug protein/ml in RIPA buffer) with (B) and without (A) blocking with the immunizing peptide. Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
