A 19 AA peptide near the N-Terminus of human TAU. The immunogen is located within aa 210-260 of TAU.
Specificity
TAU antibody is human, mouse and rat reactive. Multiple isoforms of TAU are known to exist; this antibody will only detect the two longest isoforms.

Usage
TAU antibody can be used for detection of TAU by Western blot at 1 - 2 ug/ml. Antibody can also be used for immunohistochemistry starting at 5 ug/mL. Antibody validated: Western Blot in human and rat samples and Immunohistochemistry in mouse samples. All other applications and species not yet tested. Western Blot: Predicted: 83 kDa Observed: 90 kDa
