MAP2K7 / MEK7 antibody was raised against recombinant GST-fusion protein containing full length human MKK7 sequence.
Reacts with the ~47kD human and mouse MKK7 protein. There is no cross reactivity to MKK4. Reactivity is confirmed with MKK7 transfected COS cells, MDCK, mouse liver and Caco2 cell lysates. MDCK is the recommended positive control for this antibody.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and ELISA. Immunofluorescence: 15-20 ug/ml. Western Blot: 1-3 ug/ml. ELISA: 0.1-1 ug/ml.

Dual specificity protein kinase which acts as an essential component of the MAP kinase signal transduction pathway. Essential component of the stress-activated protein kinase/c-Jun N-terminal kinase (SAP/JNK) signaling pathway. With MAP2K4/MKK4, is the one of the only known kinase to directly activate the stress-activated protein kinase/c-Jun N-terminal kinases MAPK8/JNK1, MAPK9/JNK2 and MAPK10/JNK3.
