Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Lysyl Oxidase / LOX is an extracellular copper enzyme that initiates the crosslinking of collagens and elastin. The enzyme catalyzes oxidative deamination of the epsilon-amino group in certain lysine and hydroxylysine residues of collagens and lysine residues of elastin. In addition to crosslinking extracellular matrix proteins, the encoded protein may have a role in tumor suppression. Defects in this gene are a cause of autosomal recessive cutis laxa type I (CL type I).
IHC of paraffin-embedded Ovary tissue using anti-LOX mouse monoclonal antibody. (Dilution 1:50).
IHC of paraffin-embedded liver tissue using anti-LOX mouse monoclonal antibody. (Dilution 1:50).
Anti-LOX mouse monoclonal antibody immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected by pCMV6-ENTRY LOX.
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY LOX (Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-LOX.
Flow cytometry of Jurkat cells, using anti-LOX antibody, (Red) compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody (Blue).
Flow cytometry of HeLa cells, using anti-LOX antibody, (Red) compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody (Blue).
HEK293T cells transfected with either pCMV6-ENTRY LOX (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained with anti-LOX mouse monoclonal, and then analyzed by flow cytometry.
