Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
MCF-7 human breast adenocarcinoma cell line.
Reacts with Rod domain of cytokeratin 19 (40 kD) in human tissue. Cytokeratin 19 is not expressed in hepatocytes; it is often co-expressed with cytokeratin 7.
The reagent is designed for Immunocytochemistry. Suggested working dilution is 1:500. Indicated dilution is recommended starting point for use of this product. Working concentrations should be determined by the investigator. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
KRT19 / CK19 / Cytokeratin 19 is a member of the keratin family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. The type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains. Unlike its related family members, this smallest known acidic cytokeratin is not paired with a basic cytokeratin in epithelial cells.
