Specificity
Reacts with a 180 kD protein, known as Flk-1/KDR/Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2. Flk-1 is a cell membrane receptor kinase. Flk-1 is a high affinity receptor for vascular endothelial growth factor and is putatively involved in the growth of endothelial cells and angiogenesis. This antibody cross reacts with mouse and rat.
