Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
IPAF / NLRC4 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 971-989 (DFSTKEFLPDPALVRKLSQ) of human Ipaf/Clan/CARD12, GenBank no. gi|40788015|ref|NP_067032.3|. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla (100%); Gibbon, Monkey, Mouse (89%); Orangutan, Galago (84%); Rat (79%).

Apoptosis is related to many diseases and induced by a family of cell death receptors and their ligands. Cell death signals are transduced by death domain containing adaptor molecules and proteases including several members of the caspase family. Another family of proteins that functions as a critical regulator of apoptosis and NF-kB signaling pathways is the CED-4/Apaf-1 (apoptosis protein activating factor-1) protein family.
LS-C148272 specifically recognizes NLRCR4, but not closely related NLR family members NOD1 and NOD2. HEK293T cells transiently transfected with with human NOD1, NOD or NLRC4 c-myc plasmids were IPd with a c-myc antibody followed by western blot with the LS-C148272 NLRC4 antibody.
