Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

CHO cells transfected with cDNA corresponding to the gp80 IL-6 receptor gene.
Recognizes soluble and membrane bound human IL-6 receptor gp80, a glycoprotein with Mr80kD which is also known as CD126. This antibody binds to the IL-6 receptor in the presence of IL-6.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Neutralization. Flow Cytometry: ~0.2 ug to label up to 1E6 cells. Neutralization: 5 ng neutralizes 50% of the activity of 1unit of human IL-6 in an XG-1 cell proliferation assay. The applications listed have been tested for the unmodified form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
PBS, pH 7.2, No preservatives added
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
IL6R / IL6 Receptor is a subunit of the interleukin 6 (IL6) receptor complex. Interleukin 6 is a potent pleiotropic cytokine that regulates cell growth and differentiation and plays an important role in the immune response. The IL6 receptor is a protein complex consisting of this protein and interleukin 6 signal transducer (IL6ST/GP130/IL6-beta), a receptor subunit also shared by many other cytokines.
