Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About H2AFX / H2AX

P16104 NM_002105 NP_002096.1

H2AFX Antibody, H2AX Antibody, Histone H2A.x Antibody, H2A.X Antibody, H2A histone family, member X Antibody, H2AX histone Antibody

Variant histone H2A which replaces conventional H2A in a subset of nucleosomes. Nucleosomes wrap and compact DNA into chromatin, limiting DNA accessibility to the cellular machineries which require DNA as a template. Histones thereby play a central role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, DNA replication and chromosomal stability. DNA accessibility is regulated via a complex set of post-translational modifications of histones, also called histone code, and nucleosome remodeling.

Immunofluorescence

Immunofluorescence
Hela cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde, washed in PBS, and permeabilized using 0.5% Triton X-100 for 5 minutes. Cells were then incubated with a 1:50 dilution of H2A. X antibody (Poly6133) for 1 hr, washed twice using 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS and in.

Western blot

Western blot
Jurkat nuclear extract was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with rabbit anti-H2A. X antibody. Proteins were visualized using a donkey anti-rabbit secondary conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
