Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

GLP1R / GLP-1 Receptor antibody was raised against synthetic 16 amino acid peptide from N-terminal extracellular domain of human GLP1R. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Mouse, Bovine, Hamster, Elephant, Rabbit, Pig (94%); Rat, Dog, Bat, Panda (88%).
N-Terminus
Human GLP1R. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins, except RUSC2 (44%).

About GLP1R / GLP-1 Receptor

P43220 NM_002062 NP_002053.3

GLP1R Antibody, GLP-1-R Antibody, GLP-1 receptor Antibody, GLP-1R Antibody, GLP-I receptor Antibody, Glp1 receptor Antibody

GLP1R, a Glucagon Receptor, has been suggested to affect the feelings of satiety or hunger, sensation of glucose levels, control of glucagon sensitivity of islets, and non insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. Glucagon-like peptide 1 is an incretin hormone produced by enteroendocrine L-cells in the intestinal mucosa. The hormone is released in response to food intake and plays an important role in maintaining blood glucose homeostasis.
