Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About GLA / Alpha Galactosidase

P06280 NM_000169 NP_000160.1

GLA Antibody, Agalsidase Antibody, Alpha-D-galactosidase A Antibody, Alpha-galactosidase A Antibody, Agalsidase alfa Antibody, Galactosidase, alpha Antibody, Melibiase Antibody, Alpha-gal A Antibody, GALA Antibody

GLA / Alpha Galactosidase encodes a homodimeric glycoprotein that hydrolyses the terminal alpha-galactosyl moieties from glycolipids and glycoproteins. This enzyme predominantly hydrolyzes ceramide trihexoside, and it can catalyze the hydrolysis of melibiose into galactose and glucose.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
GLA Antibody IHC of formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human Lung carcinoma followed by peroxidase-conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining.

Immunofluorescence

Immunofluorescence
Confocal immunofluorescence of GLA Antibody with HeLa cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of GLA antibody in HeLa cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). GLA (arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
GLA Antibody flow cytometry of HepG2 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
