Specificity
Recognizes synthetic and naturally produced rabbit, mouse, rat, and porcine Gal alpha 1-3 Gal epitopes on glycoproteins and glycolipids. Does not cross-react with beta-gal glycoproteins or BSA.

Usage
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and functional studies (can be used for cytotoxicity assays for alpha-Gal specific pathways). Immunohistochemistry: paraffin sections. Note: Do not use non-fat milk for blocking. Many blocking agents from non-human mammal sources will cross-react with the antibody.
