  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

EWSR1 / EWS antibody was raised against full length recombinant human EWS expressed in and purified from E. coli.
Clone 5H7 recognizes EWS specifically both in western blots and in immunocytochemical experiments. On blots clone 5H7 reveals a prominent 85 kDa band, and on cells in tissue culture the antibody stains mainly the nucleus.
The antibody solution can be used at dilutions of 1:500 for immunofluorescence.&nbsp. For western blots try at 1:1000. A suitable control tissue is HeLa cell lysates.

PBS, 0.05% sodium azide.
+4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

About EWSR1 / EWS

Q01844 NM_005243 NP_005234.1

EWSR1 Antibody, EWS Antibody, RNA-binding protein EWS Antibody, BK984G1.4 Antibody, EWS oncogene Antibody

EWSR1 / EWS is a multifunctional protein that is involved in various cellular processes, including gene expression, cell signaling, and RNA processing and transport. The protein includes an N-terminal transcriptional activation domain and a C-terminal RNA-binding domain. Chromosomal translocations between this gene and various genes encoding transcription factors result in the production of chimeric proteins that are involved in tumorigenesis.

An image of HeLa cell cultures stained with antibody EWSR1 / EWS antibody (green) and chicken antibody to vimentin (red). Blue is a DNA stain, and it is clear that in these cells, EWS is localized along with the DNA in the nucleus.

Western blot

Western blot
Blots of whole HeLa cell lysates blotted with EWSR1 / EWS antibody. EWSR1 / EWS antibody binds strongly and cleanly to a band at about 85 kDa. Position at which SDS-PAGE molecular weight standards run is are indicated at left.
