Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
EMA / MUC1 antibody was raised against high molecular weight(>300 kD) glycoprotein from human milk-fat globule molecule.
This antibody recognizes underglycosylated and natural MUC1 protein isolated from human milk by affinity chromatography. Belongs to MAb clusters 6 and 7 accordingto ISOMB TD-4 classification. Non cross-reactive with normal serum proteins and human tissues of non-epithelial origin.
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% sodium azide
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C; Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
EMA / MUC1 is a membrane-bound protein that is a member of the mucin family. Mucins are O-glycosylated proteins that play an essential role in forming protective mucous barriers on epithelial surfaces. These proteins also play a role in intracellular signaling. This protein is expressed on the apical surface of epithelial cells that line the mucosal surfaces of many different tissues including lung, breast stomach and pancreas.
