Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About DIO2

Q92813 NM_013989 NP_054644.1

DIO2 Antibody, 5DII Antibody, D2 Antibody, DIOII Antibody, ITDI2 Antibody, Type 2 DI Antibody, TXDI2 Antibody, Type-II 5-deiodinase Antibody, SelY Antibody, Type-II 5deiodinase Antibody, Thyroxine deiodinase, type II Antibody

Type II iodothyronine deiodinase activates thyroid hormone by converting the prohormone thyroxine (T4) by outer ring deiodination (ORD) to bioactive 3,3&#039,5-triiodothyronine (T3). Thyroid hormone appears to have important regulatory effects in some mammalian tissues, such as the developing brain, the anterior pituitary gland, and brown adipose tissue. A relatively high proportion of the receptor-bound triiodothyronine is found within the tissue itself rather than in plasma.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
DIO2 Antibody IHC of formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded mouse brain followed by peroxidase-conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the mouse DIO2 Antibody for immunohistochemistry.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of DIO2 Antibody in MCF-7 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). DIO2 (arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of lysates from human heart and human skeletal muscle tissue lysate (from left to right), using DIO2 Antibody. Antibody was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1:10000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysates at 35ug per lane.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
DIO2 Antibody flow cytometry of MCF-7 cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
