Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

DAXX antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human Daxx.
aa261-274
Amino acids 261-274 of human DAXX protein.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B363 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B363 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.

Packaging

0.02 M potassium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide.

About DAXX

Q9UER7 NM_001350 NP_001341.1

DAXX Antibody, BING2 Antibody, CENP-C binding protein Antibody, DAP6 Antibody, Death-associated protein 6 Antibody, EAP1 Antibody, Fas-binding protein Antibody, HDaxx Antibody, ETS1-associated protein 1 Antibody

Apoptosis, or programmed cell death, occurs during normal cellular differentiation and development of multicellular organisms. Apoptosis is induced by certain cytokines including TNF and Fas ligand of the TNF family through their death domain containing receptors, TNFR1 and Fas. Cell death signals are transduced by death domain (DD)- containing adapter molecules and members of the ICE/CED-3 protease family.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-DAXX antibody IHC of human kidney. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B363 concentration 5 ug/ml.

Western blot

Western blot
Anti-DAXX Antibody - Western Blot. Western blot of affinity purified anti-DAXX antibody shows detection of DAXX in RWPE-1 cell extracts. The membrane was probed with the primary antibody diluted to 1:200, and further probed with peroxidase conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG at a 1:25000 dilution.
