Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse Monoclonal [clone B8E5] (IgG2a) to Human CHRM2 / M2
Human, Mouse, Rat, Guinea pig, Pig
IHC - Frozen, Immunofluorescence, Western blot, Functional Assay
Rabbit Polyclonal (IgG) to Human CHRM2 / M2
ICC, Western blot, ELISA
Human CHRM2 / M2
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Specificity and Use
CHRM2 / M2 antibody was raised against peptide analog of the carboxyl terminal of the M2 receptor covalently attached onto a carrier protein.
Recognizes M2 Receptor (457-466) and the reactivity of M2 Receptor is 80%. Does not react to M1 Receptor, M3 Receptor, M4 Receptor and M5 Receptor. Has been found to stain specifically the M2 receptor in Western immunoblots of whole rat brain homogenates.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry.
The muscarinic cholinergic receptors belong to a larger family of G protein-coupled receptors. The functional diversity of these receptors is defined by the binding of acetylcholine to these receptors and includes cellular responses such as adenylate cyclase inhibition, phosphoinositide degeneration, and potassium channel mediation. Muscarinic receptors influence many effects of acetylcholine in the central and peripheral nervous system.
