  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CDK2 antibody was raised against cdk2 peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of the human protein conjugated to Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH). ( C-TERMINAL ).
Detects an epitope within the C-terminal region of human cyclin dependent kinase 2 (Cdk2), a protein kinase which is essential for G1-S phase transition in the cell cycle. Cdk2 forms the catalytic subunit of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase complex, which also consists of a number of regulatory subunits, including cyclin A or cyclin E, and the Cdk inhibitors p21/WAF1 and p27/kip1. When activated, Cdk2 phosphorylates the retinoblastoma protein, leading to the activation of the transcription factor E2F and cell cycle progression. Cdk2 can be upregulated in tumors, including adenomas and breast cancers, particularly in conjunction to cyclin overexpression.
Western Blot: LS-C42563 detects a band of approximately 33kD in human tissue.

Serum, 0.01% sodium azide.
