Anti-cdk2 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of the human cdk-2 protein conjugated to Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH).

C-Terminus

Antiserum will specifically react with a 33 kDa cdk2 protein from human, rat and mouse tissue. No reaction was observed against other related cyclin dependent kinases. Cross reactivity with cdk2 from other species may also occur.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B352 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B352 was determined to be 1:500.
