  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CD58 antibody was raised against human erythrocytes.
CD58 has a wide tissue distribution, being present on erythrocytes, platelets, monocytes, a subset of lymphocytes, bone marrow cells, epithelium and endothelial cells[2]. There are approximately 5000 CD58 molecules on each erythrocyte. There is reduced expression of CD58 on hemopoietic cells in individuals with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Flow Cytometry:1:10, Use 10 ul to label 1E6 cells in 100ul.

PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C

CD58 Antibody, CD58 antigen Antibody, AG3 Antibody, LFA-3 Antibody, LFA3 Antibody, Surface glycoprotein LFA-3 Antibody, Surface glycoprotein lfa3 Antibody, CD58 molecule Antibody

Ligand of the T-lymphocyte CD2 glycoprotein. This interaction is important in mediating thymocyte interactions with thymic epithelial cells, antigen-independent and -dependent interactions of T-lymphocytes with target cells and antigen-presenting cells and the T-lymphocyte rosetting with erythrocytes. In addition, the LFA-3/CD2 interaction may prime response by both the CD2+ and LFA-3+ cells.
