Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse Monoclonal [clone JM6C11] (IgG1) to Pig CD46
Pig (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG1 Monoclonal [JM6C11]
Protein G purified
Flow Cytometry (1:10)
Specificity and Use
CD46 antibody was raised against porcine peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
Recognizes the porcine homologue of human CD46, a 45-65kD glycoprotein also known as Membrane Cofactor Protein (MCP). CD46 is expressed by all peripheral blood cells with the exception of erythrocytes.
PBS, 0.09% sodium azide
+4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Acts as a cofactor for complement factor I, a serine protease which protects autologous cells against complement-mediated injury by cleaving C3b and C4b deposited on host tissue. May be involved in the fusion of the spermatozoa with the oocyte during fertilization. Also acts as a costimulatory factor for T-cells which induces the differentiation of CD4+ into T-regulatory 1 cells.
