Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CD22 antibody was raised against human tonsil lymphocytes.
Recognizes CD22.
Identification of B lymphocytes and HCL cells by indirect immunofluorescence staining. Identification of B lymphocytes and B lymphocyte progenitor cells by staining of cytoplasmic CD22 antigen using the APAAP technique. Staining of B lymphocytes in frozen tissue sections by indirect immunoperoxidase staining. Immunoprecipitation of CD22 antigen. Signal transduction studies of CD22 which is phosphorylated following slgM cross-linking. Studies on the interaction of CD22 and its ligand, CD. Storage and Stability Store at +4?C protected from light. DO NOT FREEZE. For long term use and storage aliquot conjugate into small volumes and store at +4?C.

Packaging

PBS, 10 mM sodium azide, 1 mg/ml BSA.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

About CD22

P20273 NM_001771 NP_001762.2

CD22 Antibody, CD22 molecule Antibody, CD22 antigen Antibody, SIGLEC2 Antibody, SIGLEC-2 Antibody, T-cell surface antigen Leu-14 Antibody, B-cell receptor CD22 Antibody, BL-CAM Antibody

Mediates B-cell B-cell interactions. May be involved in the localization of B-cells in lymphoid tissues. Binds sialylated glycoproteins; one of which is CD45. Preferentially binds to alpha-2,6-linked sialic acid. The sialic acid recognition site can be masked by cis interactions with sialic acids on the same cell surface. Upon ligand induced tyrosine phosphorylation in the immune response seems to be involved in regulation of B-cell antigen receptor signaling.
