Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Flow Cytometry

Specificity and Use

CCL2 / MCP1 antibody was raised against mouse CCL2
This 2H5 antibody is offered in 2 formats:- ug size: has been tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of thioglycollate-induced peritoneal exudate cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug)/test of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

Aqueous buffer, 0.09% sodium azide, may contain carrier protein/stabilizer.
Store at 4°C, avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.
For research use only.

About CCL2 / MCP1

P13500 NM_002982 NP_002973.1

CCL2 Antibody, C-C motif chemokine 2 Antibody, Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 Antibody, GDCF-2 Antibody, HC11 Antibody, HSMCR30 Antibody, MCP1 Antibody, SCYA2 Antibody, Small-inducible cytokine A2 Antibody, Monocyte secretory protein JE Antibody, MCAF Antibody, MCP-1 Antibody, Monocyte chemotactic protein 1 Antibody, SMC-CF Antibody

CCL2 / MCP1 is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Chemokines are a superfamily of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The superfamily is divided into four subfamilies based on the arrangement of N-terminal cysteine residues of the mature peptide. This chemokine is a member of the CC subfamily which is characterized by two adjacent cysteine residues.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of 1-day LPS activated normal human peripheral blood mononuclear cells with 0.5 ug of FITC Armenian Hamster IgG isotype control (open histogram) or 0.5 ug of FITC anti-mo/hu/rat CCL2/MCP-1 (2H5) (colored histogram). Cells in the monocyte gate were used for analysis. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
