Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
BLM antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide, which represented a portion of human Bloom Syndrome encoded within exon 22 (LocusLink ID 641). Antibody was affinity purified using the peptide immobilized on solid support.
Reacts with BLM Species cross-reactivity: This antibody reacts with Homo sapiens. Other species have not been tested. Mismatches: Mouse-3 (2 conserved, 1 not conserved).
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.

Participates in DNA replication and repair. Exhibits a magnesium-dependent ATP-dependent DNA-helicase activity that unwinds single- and double-stranded DNA in a 3'-5' direction. Involved in 5'-end resection of DNA during double-strand break (DSB) repair: unwinds DNA and recruits DNA2 which mediates the cleavage of 5'-ssDNA. Negatively regulates sister chromatid exchange (SCE).
