Specificity and Use

Bacillus Spores antibody was raised against purified spores of B. cereus (ATCC #11778) + B. subtilis (ATCC #9372).
Antiserum is unabsorbed and is expected to cross-react with various Bacillus sp.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence. IFA: >:1:400. Ice cold acetone fixation of Bacillus spores before IFA staining is highly recommended. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.


PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
