Specifications

Description
ACVR1 (ALK-2, Activin A receptor, type I) is transmembrane receptor of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily that is involved in growth and differentiation. It is important for neurogenesis as well as the development and repair of the skeletal system via its involvement in the BMP (bone morphogenic) pathway. Mutations in this gene are associated with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressive as well as diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). In immunohistochemistry, ACVR1 has cytoplasmic positivity throughout the body. Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3020 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3020 was determined to be 4 ug/ml.
