SYF2 / p29

SYF2 pre-mRNA-splicing factor

SYF2 / p29 is a nuclear protein that interacts with cyclin D-type binding-protein 1, which is thought to be a cell cycle regulator at the G1/S transition. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.

Gene Name: SYF2 pre-mRNA-splicing factor
Synonyms: SYF2, CCNDBP1-interactor, CBPIN, FSAP29, GCIP-interacting protein p29, NTC31, p29, Pre-mRNA-splicing factor SYF2, CCNDBP1 interactor, GCIPIP
Target Sequences: NM_015484 NP_056299.1 O95926

SYF2 / p29 Antibody - Western blot analysis of extracts of mouse liver, using SYF2 antibody at 1:1000 dilution. The secondary antibody used was an HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates were loaded 25ug per lane and 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST was used for blocking. An ECL Kit was used for detection and the exposure time was 90s.
