Immunohistochemistry Services

Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

TCR Screening Services

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Mouse IgG

Representing approximately 75% of serum antibodies, IgG is the most common type of antibody found in the circulation. IgG molecules are created and released by plasma B cells. IgG antibodies are large molecules of about 150 kDa made of four peptide chains. It contains two identical class gamma heavy chains of about 50 kDa and two identical light chains of about 25 kDa. The two heavy chains are linked to each other and to a light chain each by disulfide bonds. The resulting tetramer has two identical halves, which together form the Y-like shape. Each end of the fork contains an identical antigen binding site. The Fc regions of IgGs bear a highly conserved N-glycosylation site. There are four IgG subclasses (IgG1, 2a, 2b, 3) in mice.

Mouse IgG Antibody - Anti-MOUSE IgG Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated - Western Blot. Western blot of Anti-Mouse IgG Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated detecting mouse IgG. Mouse IgG (1.0 mg) was separated on a 4-20% gradient gel and then transferred to Whatman Protran BA 85 nitrocellulose (0.45 micron pore size)., and blocked with 5% BLOTTO (B501-0500) o/n at 4C. The membrane was then probed with a 1:2500 dilution of HRP Rb-a-Mouse IgG [H&L] (p/n Anti-MOUSE IgG (H&L) (RABBIT) Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated) for 45 min at RT. FemtoMax Super Sensitive Chemiluminescent HRP Substrate (p/n FEMTOMAX-110). Was added and the image was captured using a BioSpectrum Imaging System with a BioChemi 500 -28C cooled 4.0 Megapixel CCD Camera from UVP (www. uvp. com, Upland, CA). Binning: 5X5. Exposure time: 2 min. Aperture open. No emission or excitation filters used. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
